DIRECTOR BIO:
EN: Analu Bambirra, Brazilian, holds a degree in Film and Audiovisual from Centro Universitário UNA, in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. Partner at Partisane Filmes, she works in the fields of executive production, curation and distribution. She was an assistant producer at Anavilhana from 2014 to 2021 and a project consultant from 2021 to 2022. She is the curator and coordinator of the Arab Women’s Film Festival in Brazil. “The orgasm is in the brain” is her first film as a director.
DIRECTOR STATEMENT:
“The orgasm is in the brain” is a short film in which I intended to speak about sexuality through an aesthetics considered erotic by Erotic Hypnosis practitioners.
